Ok so I love your work, and I have been dabbling in working in the Steampunk style for doing some custom computer stuff, and I have run into tons of issues when working with the smaller watch pieces to get them attached well to the items. I gotta ask, any tricks to your soldering them on? Particular type of solder gun or type of solder used that seems to work better than others? Would love some input as your stuff is top notch.
Well, honestly...I use a resin right now. Smaller pieces are hard, so I just use tweezers. I use J and B weld, which is actually for automobiles. I use the clear drying kind, and it sets in five minutes. I use a toothpick to mix it (it's a two part resign, and it won't make a glue until they are mixed together) and tweezers to move the smaller pieces. I hope that helps ^^
Awesome! I love these!

cool looking! What did you use?
I used adjustable brass ring bases, and then used a small watch movement I bought at the antique store for the one on the left, and a bunch of gears for the one on the right. : )
