And I just tinker around. When I see something steampunky, I buy it. I have different drawers for all the pieces I have, and I sit down and kind of mix and match with the ideas in my head.
I usually set a piece out for at least a day, to see if I like it or not. I make adjustments if I need to, and then I use an automotive resign to glue the pieces together. : )
